Who is responsible for your data
Prop Nexia, registered at Sector 10, Dwarka, New Delhi, India, is the data controller for personal data collected through the propnexia.com website and our customer billing system. The data controller for personal data inside your WordPress site (your buyers’ leads, your agents’ contacts, etc.) is you, not us — we provide the software, you operate the site.
What we collect, on the propnexia.com website
- Contact form submissions: name, email, company, country, message content, source page
- Email correspondence: the content of emails you send to hello@propnexia.com
- Server logs: IP address, user agent, referrer, requested URL, timestamp (kept ~30 days for security)

What we collect, when you buy Elite
Payment is processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our merchant of record. Paddle collects billing information (name, address, payment method, VAT ID) directly under their own privacy policy. We receive from Paddle:
- Your name and email (for licence fulfillment)
- Order reference, plan, term, country
- Refund status if applicable
We do not receive your full credit card number or bank details. Paddle’s privacy policy applies to data they hold: paddle.com/legal/privacy.
What the plugins do NOT send to us
The Prop Nexia and Prop Nexia Elite plugins do not transmit your listings, leads, agents, or visitor data to our servers. The only network call the plugins make to our infrastructure is:
- Elite licence verification: your licence key and your site domain, periodically, to confirm the licence is active. No content data, no buyer data, no analytics.
The free plugin does not contact our servers at all.
Why we collect data, and the legal basis
- To respond to your inquiry (contact form, email) — legitimate interest
- To fulfill your Elite purchase (licence delivery, support, renewal notices) — contract performance
- To prevent abuse (server logs, rate limiting) — legitimate interest in service security
- To send transactional emails (licence expiring, security advisories) — contract performance
- To send marketing emails (new features, product announcements) — only with your opt-in consent; unsubscribe in every email
Who we share with
- Paddle — merchant of record for Elite purchases
- Email infrastructure provider — for sending transactional and marketing email
- Hosting provider — for running propnexia.com servers
- Legal authorities — only when required by valid legal process
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.
International transfers
Our hosting and email vendors may be located outside your country of residence. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep data
- Contact form messages: 2 years
- Server logs: 30 days
- Customer purchase records: as long as required by tax/accounting law (typically 5–7 years)
- Email correspondence: 3 years from last interaction
- Marketing email list: until you unsubscribe
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (GDPR, India’s DPDP Act 2023, and similar), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (where we have no legal obligation to retain it)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority

Security
We use HTTPS for all website traffic, encrypted database fields for sensitive data, access controls on internal systems, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure — if a breach occurs that materially affects your data, we’ll notify you and the relevant authority within the timeframe required by law.
Children
Our service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email (if you’re a customer) and posted here with an updated “Last updated” date.
